This list of persons who, lost their lives, victims of Massacres by headsmen and bandits at Sankera axis of Benue State from July 17th 2015 to March 17th 2025. The list has been compiled over the last decade.
Even though we recorded 2,643 people who lost their lives and property or destroyed in the unfortunate crisis. The figure does not include people who died in the forests and their bodies were not seen or accounted for.
We have also not recorded thousands of bandits killed by government operations, not quantified the billions of naira lost through attacks on farm produce, residential buildings, schools, churches and hospital.
